What are house concerts? A house concert is a private event and requires an invitation. Subscribe to our mailing list or if you make reservations for a show, you will be automatically added.
Where is the Cantina Sound Workshop? Cantina Sound Workshop is located at our house that is a few miles east of Pedernales Falls State Park, off of Fitzhugh Road, between Dripping Springs and Johnson City. Complete directions will be sent with your final confirmation.
The workshop is air-conditioned with comfortable seating. No need to bring your own chairs. Let us know if the workshop is too cold or too hot. We can adjust the temperature and there is an overhead fan.
Are advanced reservations required? Yes, shows are invitation only and reservations are required. The room has a limited capacity and reservations are required on a first come, first served basis. Reservation requests are handled on the Cantina Sound website.
We enable reservations for a show approximately 1 month prior to the show.
If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible, however failing to cancel prior to 3 days before the show, requires sending a donation to the artist. Failing to donate will put you on the naughty list preventing attendance to future shows.
How much of the door donation (suggested donation published) goes to the artists? All of the donation at the door go directly to the performer(s). Cantina Sound House Concerts does not receive any compensation for these shows.
